Masterpiece Pumpkins portraits have appeared on TV, in magazines and newspapers, and LOTS of weddings and commemorative occasions. Our portrait masterpieces of people (famous and regular), kids, and pets are well known as detailed, yet elegantly clean carvings- looking JUST like their subjects when lit. --Funny thing is, when not lit, they are virtually recognizable!

Carved from 3-color carving designs, where some portions are carved through to
light up, some areas are "sculpted" (skin peeled away to leave pumpkin flesh),
and the remainder of the pumpkin (or watermelon) is uncarved to stay dark. Portraits
with sculpting are the most life-like, and have a crazy 3-D appearance when lit!

Carved from 2-color carving designs (also known as carving "stencils"), where
portions are carved through to light up, and the remainder of the pumpkin (or watermelon)
is uncarved to stay dark. Stencil-style portraits do a good job of capturing the subject,
while still being fairly easy to carve.
